At Maharani Martini, every piece is thoughtfully crafted to celebrate self-expression, joy, and individuality. Fashion jewellery is designed to be loved and worn, and with a little care, your favourite pieces can continue to sparkle through countless cherished moments.
How should I store my jewellery??
Store your jewellery in an airtight pouch or jewellery box when not in use. Keep each piece separate to prevent scratches, tangling, and friction between pieces.
Can I wear my jewellery every day??
Many of our pieces are suitable for regular wear. However, we recommend removing your jewellery before sleeping, bathing, swimming, exercising, or engaging in activities that may expose it to excessive moisture or impact.
Can I wear my jewellery in water?
We recommend keeping all Maharani Martini jewellery away from water, moisture, steam, and excessive humidity to maintain its shine, plating, and overall appearance.
Can perfumes and cosmetics affect my jewellery??
Yes. Perfumes, hairsprays, lotions, sanitizers, makeup products, and other chemical-based products may affect the finish and longevity of your jewellery. Always wear your jewellery after your beauty routine is complete.
How do I clean my jewellery?
Gently wipe your jewellery with a soft, dry cloth after every wear to remove oils, dust, and residue. Avoid using abrasive materials, chemical cleaners, or polishing agents unless specifically recommended.
Are Maharani Martini jewellery pieces skin-friendly and hypoallergenic?
Most customers wear our jewellery comfortably without experiencing irritation. However, skin sensitivity varies from person to person. Our anti-tarnish jewellery, typically crafted using stainless steel with 18kt gold plating, is generally considered more skin-friendly and suitable for most skin types. Our brass gold-plated jewellery is also suitable for most individuals. However, customers with highly sensitive skin or known metal allergies may experience irritation during prolonged wear. If you have extremely sensitive skin or known allergies to fashion jewellery, we recommend exercising caution and testing the jewellery for shorter periods before extended wear.
What is the difference between anti-tarnish jewellery and brass gold-plated jewellery?
Anti-Tarnish Jewellery Usually crafted using stainless steel with 18kt gold plating and an additional protective coating. Best suited for: • Everyday wear • Office wear • Travel • Low-maintenance styling Features: • More resistant to tarnishing • Better suited for daily wear • Requires minimal maintenance • More durable against everyday exposure Brass Gold-Plated Jewellery Crafted using brass as the base metal and finished with layers of 18kt gold plating. Best suited for: • Weddings • Festive occasions • Temple jewellery • Kundan jewellery • Statement pieces Features: • Allows intricate handcrafted detailing • Rich artisanal appeal • May naturally oxidize over time • Requires mindful care and storage
What does 18kt Gold Plated mean?
18kt gold plating refers to a layer of 18-karat gold applied over a base metal such as brass or stainless steel. The gold used in 18kt plating contains approximately 75% pure gold, giving it its rich, warm tone. Unlike solid gold jewellery, plated jewellery contains only a surface layer of gold and may naturally fade over time with regular wear
Why is my brass gold-plated jewellery getting oxidized or changing colour?
Brass is a beautiful and widely loved base metal used in fashion jewellery for its durability and craftsmanship. Over time, brass-based jewellery may naturally undergo oxidation. This is a normal characteristic of the metal and is not considered a manufacturing defect. Factors that can accelerate oxidation include: • Exposure to moisture and humidity. • Contact with perfumes, lotions, sanitizers, and chemicals. • Sweat and individual skin pH. • Improper storage. • Frequent wear and friction. The rate at which brass jewellery oxidizes differs from person to person based on body chemistry and care practices.
What is a cultured pearl? Is it a real freshwater pearl?
Yes. Cultured pearls are real pearls. A cultured pearl forms inside a freshwater mussel or saltwater oyster, just like a natural pearl. The difference is that the process is initiated with human assistance under controlled conditions. Cultured freshwater pearls are genuine freshwater pearls and are not plastic, glass, or imitation pearls. Since they are created by nature, slight variations in shape, colour, lustre, and texture are natural and make every pearl unique.
Are the natural stones used in Maharani Martini jewellery real?
Yes. Many of our handcrafted pieces feature genuine natural semi-precious stones such as: • Rose Quartz • Amethyst • Amazonite • Labradorite • Lapis Lazuli • Moonstone • Tiger Eye • Carnelian • Citrine • Fluorite • Mother of Pearl Because these stones are naturally formed, no two stones are exactly alike. Variations in colour, veining, inclusions, shape, and size are part of their authentic beauty.
Do these natural stones have astrological significance? Should I consult an astrologer before wearing them?
Many natural stones have been associated with spiritual and astrological beliefs across cultures. However, the stones used in Maharani Martini jewellery are selected primarily for their beauty, craftsmanship, and design appeal. You do not need to consult an astrologer before wearing them. If you personally follow astrological practices and wish to wear gemstones for remedial or planetary purposes, we recommend consulting a qualified astrologer. Please note that any traditional meanings associated with these stones are based on folklore and personal beliefs and are not scientifically proven.
Do natural semi-precious stones have resale value?
Natural semi-precious stones are genuine gemstones. However, unlike investment-grade precious gemstones, they are generally not purchased for financial appreciation. The resale value, if any, depends on factors such as: • Quality of the stone • Craftsmanship • Condition of the jewellery • Brand value • Market demand Maharani Martini jewellery is designed to be treasured for its artistry and sentiment rather than as an investment asset.
What if my jewellery becomes dull?
Over time, fashion jewellery may naturally lose some of its original brilliance with wear. A gentle wipe using a soft dry cloth and proper storage practices often help maintain its appearance. Keeping your jewellery away from moisture and chemicals significantly extends its lifespan.
What if a stone comes loose or falls off?
Jewellery featuring intricate hand-setting may occasionally require minor maintenance. If a stone comes loose, it can often be reattached using a jewellery adhesive such as B-7000 Glue, which is widely available online. Apply a very small amount of adhesive to the setting, carefully place the stone back into position, and allow it to dry completely before wearing. For delicate repairs, customers may also consult a trusted local jeweller. Our team is always happy to guide you wherever possible.
Can Maharani Martini repair my jewellery?
If your jewellery requires repairs, please contact us via email or WhatsApp with details and photographs of the piece. Our team will assess the feasibility of the repair and guide you through the next steps. Courier charges, if applicable, may be borne by the customer.
What can I do to make my jewellery last longer?
• Wear your jewellery mindfully. • Avoid direct contact with water and chemicals. • Store each piece separately in airtight pouches. • Wipe gently after every wear. • Handle delicate handcrafted elements with care. • Remove jewellery before sleeping, exercising, showering, swimming, or household chores.

•Fashion jewellery is created to accompany you through celebrations, milestones, everyday moments, and unforgettable memories. While it is not intended to last forever, a little care and mindful wear can significantly prolong its beauty. Treat your jewels with love, and they will continue to sparkle with you—beautifully, effortlessly, and through many cherished moments.
